    Howdy!

I recently discovered that Yoast SEO imposes its RSS feed customization to my rss feed, and that, in doing that, it replaces the changes made by another wordpress plugin that is especially designed to tweak my feed.

Please, would someone know how I could, in layman’s terms, tell Yoast SEO to lay off my feed and not touch it at all? (If it matters: I am not a premium customer, but I am not alien to functions.php file editing, if it may be tuned in there for instance.)

Thank you VERY MUCH if you have an idea to get it done, I’ll be most grateful ??

    Hello,

If you wish to remove the notice that is added to your RSS feed, you can go to SEO > Advanced > RSS tab, then delete the contents of the “Content to put before each post in the feed” and “Content to put after each post in the feed”.

Can you please let us know if this resolves the issue?

Ah, I didn’t imagine that removing the default “The post %%POSTLINK%%…” would result in the Yoast plugin giving up on interfering.

Thank you Marcanor for your answer, indeed, I confirm that deleting this fixed the issue. I suspect I also had to re-save the options in the settings of the other plugin, or else the 30 minutes latency before results showed was caused by browser/server/cdn caching.

Good, case solved. Very few things beat removing chores from a to-fix list ??
Thanks again, have a nice day! ??
