    Hi folks,

I was hoping some of you ninjas might have some insight. Could you take a look at my site and let me know if you know what might be going on with it?

A few things are going on… possibly since the update to WP 4.9.7 but I can’t confirm since I hadn’t actually looked at my site in a while and have been updating plugins through iThemes sync without actually checking the site.

First and maybe a clue to a major issue. I noticed some icons were showing as question marks in the Dashboard for some of the plugin settings. For instance, I have a plugin called WP Facebook Auto Publish that appears as a settings option in the Dashboard sidebar when it is activated. The icon appears as a question mark instead of whatever it should look like. There are a handful of other icons for plugin settings also missing.

Second, the Testimonials Basics plugin layouts are messed up. https://outreachmedia.com/testimonials/

Third, the Social Media Feather icons are showing as question marks. They are shown on the bottom of each post at this page for example. https://outreachmedia.com/category/case-studies/

    Things I’ve tried.
Swapped out the theme and child theme with 2017 and 2016 themes.
I’ve also made sure the Genesis theme 2.6.1 and Dynamik Gen child theme 2.4.3 are updated. And updated all the other plugins. I’ve also deactivated all plugins and reactivated them individually to eliminate the possibility of conflicts.

    Any insight would be awesome!

Also try MANUALLY updating. Download WordPress again and unzip it. Access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), and delete then replace your copies of everything on the server except the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory with fresh copies from the download. This will effectively replace all of your core files without damaging your content and settings. Please read the Manual Update directions first.

Backup: If you haven’t already done, always backup everything (including your database) before doing any actions, just in case something really goes wrong. You can never have enough backups! </strong

    Thanks for the feedback.

I tried updating manually and ran into all sorts of permissions issues. Turns out Managed WordPress hosting on GoDaddy has all that stuff locked down so I couldn’t update myself through FTP. But I called in and they replace the WP-includes, WP-admin and MU-plugins folders, and that fixed my issues!
