    Hi BDP!

    I just went into Directory Admin and found this note at the top of the screen:

    We noticed you want your Business Directory users to register before posting listings, but Registration for your site is currently disabled. Go here and check “Anyone can register” to make sure BD works properly.

    I don’t want to allow anyone to register. The process is for them to fill out a different form, then I will issue them credentials. Then they go to the “submit listing” page and login on that screen to complete their directory listing.

    Will this work? Just verifying based on the implication in the error message…

    Hi Margaret,

    Yes, this is completely valid. The message is there for those who want folks to register automatically. In your case, that’s not needed and the message is completely ignorable. It’s just trying to notify users of a common mistake if they don’t enable registration after turning it on in BD. You’re 100% fine if you ignore it.
