Anyone else wanna try? Weird footer shift problem

    Can anybody figure out what is going on here? I’ve tried all sorts of stuff, but I’m no CSS pro.

    My footer is shifting to the left just slightly. When I maximize my screen in Firefox, it looks fine, but making my window smaller at all pushes the footer over just as bit. In IE and most other browsers I’ve tested via browsershots, it is shifting over to the left as well. I am out of ideas.

  • What size screen are you talking about here? “smaller” is a relative term.

    I have a 17″ widescreen, but it doesn’t seem to matter how big it is, the only way it looks right is if my screen is maximized. Even if I have it minimized but stretch it all the way out, it still does that weird shifting thing. And IE and other browsers do it all the time.

    I’ve played around with changing the float and clear settings, as well as the background positioning. It doesn’t seem to matter whether it says top left or bottom right or center or anything in between.
