Anyone had trouble here with PayPal?

  • This is just an ordinary question, not related to WordPress. If the moderators feel I have broken some rule, please delete/move this thread. I felt like raising this issue because I find this community quite active in lending a helping hand.

    Some months back I woke up to a rude fact that Paypal had restricted my account. I wanted to carry out some payment through it but it said “Your account access is limited”. This meant that I could do nothing with the money which was lying in my account. The surprising thing was that the case ID also did not specify anything. I found that such a case ID was not existing on the website a all!

    I franctically wrote some emails to them but I got the same worded replies. Probably through an automated system. I am now worried that I will lose all my money. Has anyone faced such an issue before? What is the solution that you cna suggest to me – a non US resident.

  • I have a paypal account which I keep very very little money in. I have read of them shutting down larger operations with significant turnovers so us little people stand no chance. I’ve also had cause to phone them – might as well have talked to a brick. Here’s hoping Google provide an alternative.

    Yes Podz. I sincerely hope that too. Google seems to have won a lot of trust from net surfers.

    There seems to be no solution in sight and I guess I have lost my money now :’-(
