Have you perhaps thought about providing your own content, instead of ripping it from other sites?

Well I did ask him if there was any issues with copyright etc but he hasn’t got back to me yet. Are these sites allowed or are they just frowned upon?

Depends on what is being ‘fed’ into your blog. Some sites, bloggers, etc. don’t mind, especially when it’s made clear where the content is actually from (linking back to the original article, etc.).

Issues of copyright are complicated, and there’s hardly a single way of handling things. Personally, I would make sure all parties involved were OK with it first.

Both feedwordpress and wp-autoblog both have the option to bring content in linking to original articles, etc. I have used this plugin in past, but not with anyone else’s content but my own. This is a really complicated issue because other people always will have issues. I agree with Kaf, get permission first.

It never came up for me because I allowed myself to send the information to myself ??
