• I guess Photon has updated to include support for WP 1.5. It only works with iPhoto, so all you PC people are out. Has anyone tried it out yet or figured it out yet?

    There is Blog ID and Access Point, not really sure what to put in there.

  • What type of server are y’all running, and does it us CPanel for the server admin? I’m having problems, and I wonder if it’s server related.

    I’ve got this working to the extent that Photon can see my WP categories and add to them etc, so it’s obviously found my blog, but I get the Server Error message when I try to upload. (I was getting the 405 message but I remembered I hadn’t allowed file uploads in the WP Misc Options section!)

    I used 0 for the ID in Photon

    I set the upload to /wp-content/photos so that it uses the same folder as PhotoPress, which is CHMOD 777

    I’m hosted on Linux, Apache 1.3.33, cPanel Build 10.2.0-RELEASE 82

    Any ideas? this would be a really handy piece of kit if I could get it to work.

    What worked for me:
    Blog ID: 0
    In WordPress Misc. Options, allow file uploads and use the recommended directory destination but add the directory /photos. Make sure your max upload file size is big enough to handle your photos. The URI of the directory field in Misc. Options should be the same as upload paths in Image Upload settings of Photon.
    Create the /photos folder in the wp-content directory. Change the chmod of the /photos directory to 777.
    After changing the setting in Photon click save and then quit iPhoto before trying to export again. It wasn’t saving my setting changes when Photon crashed.

    BLOG ID in XMLRPC.PHP

    $struct = array(
    ‘isAdmin’ => $is_admin,
    ‘url’ => get_settings(‘home’) . ‘/’,
    ‘blogid’ => ‘1’,
    ‘blogName’ => get_settings(‘blogname’)
    );
