Anyone using Dreamhost?

I use dreamhost and have set up numerous client sites with them. I never had a problem setting up a db, and their support has always been excellent. The knowledge base is also very good.

I had some problems and I contacted them. A bit slow on the reply, but they apologized profusely and said they are doing everything they can. They said they were upgrading to a new server, adding more space, etc. Hope that clears up any worries.

DreamHost is awsome. Been using them for quite a while and while it takes a day sometimes to hear from their support, they are usually quite good.

Been with DH for more than a year, 20 sites at this point, many with WordPress installs. Had three problems in all that time, two that happened on the weekends and it was hard to get answers for a couple frantic days. But they seem to learn from their mistakes and keep making their services better.

Shadow, what trouble are you having? Did you create the database in Goodies/MySQL? Has it been over an hour and it hasn’t been created? Are you getting any errors? As for the support, give them 24-48 hours, they’re under-staffed right now.

Hm, disregard my last post. This is an old thread. In a more recent thread by Shadow, he mentions that his database problem was fixed.
