• I’ve tried both Smart Archives, CG-Archives by Year, and MDV-archives, but clearly I’m doing something wrong because I can’t get them to work. (Please note, I’m not running them all at once) ??

I’ve tried creating a page with just a line of code to call the plugin, but in some cases I get just that line of code on the left side of the page.

If anyone here is using one of these archive plugins, I’d really appreciate any help you could offer. ?? Thanks!

  • Well, it’s not just Kubrick…. I have five themes installed, and only two of them work with MDV Archives. You don’t have to do anything but dump those two files into the theme folder, but still they won’t work with some themes….

Too bad too, because I really LIKE MDV Archives….

[Edit: now I’m curious. I wonder if the three themes MDV Archives won’t work with are Kubrick-based…. Have to check – tomorrow….]

Thanks, vkaryl. I’ll await your findings. ??

Hi davincim – that dog won’t fight. I have only a Gemini (dark_maple) with MDV not working, and several others based mostly on Kubrick which work just fine. I had already uninstalled and deleted the Kubrick-based theme which had other problems as well – sorry, can’t remember now which it was either!

No clue what the difference is.

That’s all right, vkaryl. Thanks for looking into it.

Unless anyone else has a solution, I guess once I get more experience with php I’ll be better armed to take a crack at it. ??
