Anyone using Serverpress for dev sites and wordpress

I have 3 active forum topics and am not making much progress. Has anyone else got this setup running that might be able to answer a question about media library issues?

I have added a custom header php code that I cannot test because I cannot access the media library properly.

When I upload files it perpetually shows the image as ‘crunching’ and never completes. When I later click on the media library, all the images show up in the file manager, and I can view them – HOWEVER, I cannot place them in a post or in the header via the customize field on my theme I’m working on.

I have NO plugins installed. I have reinstalled wordpress 3.9.1 and uninstalled and reinstalled the theme I am designing.

help?!
