Anyway to make update permanent?

I love this plugin. Does exactly what it says with no issue. That said, I would like to cut down of files loaded on my web pages and would love the option of making changes permanent so if I deactivated the plugin, the updated version would remain. That way, I would not get unnecessary code on my pages and could just use update every month to check for new. Any way to do this? Thanks in advance.
