• I’ve an anywhere Elementor page. Page layout is Elementor Canvas. I add a shortcode widget and add a shortcode.

    When previewing it works.

But when I add the AE shortcode to another Elementor page, I only get the original shortcode, instead of what the shortcode should do.

So basically it’s an AE shortcode, that calls an AE page with a shortcode. How can this be fixed?

    Hi @mike2972

Can you please provide any URL or any screenshot where we can understand what happens exactly?

Or you can also contact us with more detail at https://www.elementoraddons.com/contact-us/

    Hi,

Sorry, I already removed it. Couldn’t wait. So I had to fix it with some code of my own in functions.php. It has to do with nesting shortcodes. That is not possible normally. So I had to write some lines of code to enable this. But you can try it yourself. Add a shortcode in AE with the shortcode field, then add the AE shortcode in a page. Then you have nested shortcodes.

    Hi @mike2972

I just tried to recreate the sane and it is working fine at our end. Seems like something specific to your setup that is restricting it.
Can you tell me which shortcode you are using in AE Template? Is it from some plugin or some custom-coded shortcode?

It’s the shortcode by the plugin AP Custom Testimonial Pro (https://codecanyon.net/item/ap-custom-testimonials-for-wordpress/16350828)

With this plugin, you create a shortcode. When I added this shortcode to an AE page and then inserted the AE shortcode in the final Elementor page, I only see the AP Custom Testimonial Pro shortcode.
