First, I’d like to applaud the developers and the plugin. It is an excellent security option!

Passing this along for the benefit of others (and maybe a fix?).

I ran into difficulty trying to Html 5 validate my sites. Consistently on every site I’m working with I ran into these two errors:

Error: Attribute http-equiv not allowed on element meta at this point.
    >? <meta http-equiv=”imagetoolbar” content=”no”><!– d
Error: Element meta is missing one or more of the following attributes: itemprop, property.
    >? <meta http-equiv=”imagetoolbar” content=”no”><!– d

I finally figured out that I run AOW on all these sites and they have a common setting: Miscellaneous Copy Protection.

I unchecked the copy protection and now the sites show valid HTML5.

I’d rather use AOW without this copy protection than find a different security plugin ??

    Thank you!
