After following some advice in this forum, I was able to get the ActivityPub plugin to publish to Mastodon. To test the plugin with other federated apps, I followed my profile from Pixelfed and Frendica. I can see all three of my follows — Mastodon, Pixelfed and Frendica — from the plugin’s Followers tab.

However, my first post hasn’t appeared on Pixelfed yet (pixelfed.social). My Mastodon and Frendica accounts see it, but not Pixelfed. Is there anything I can do to make my posts appear there?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hey @mbrailer ??

Have you published some images within your post? Pixelfed only shows posts with images!

Hello, @pfefferle, thanks for responding. Yes, I’ve published two posts since enabling the AP plugin, both with images in the text and as featured images. I’ve been experimenting with where to place the [ap_image] code within the post content, without success on Pixelfed so far. The first time [ap_image] was in the middle of the post, and then I moved [ap_image] to the top.

For my next post I plan to use [ap_image] as the src attribute of an img element to see what happens.

@mbrailer it is not about [ap_image]! you do not have to use that at all! all images from the content will be added as Attachments . You can check that by adding ?activitypub at the end of each URL. For example: https://cutetropolis.com/2024/12/13/test-post/?activitypub

I have searched for two of your posts on pixelfed and they show up nicely! Are you sure that you follow your profile properly? Can you check if your pixelfed account is in the followers list of your WordPress profile!?!

Thank you for checking into this and for the explanation. I am following the blog from Pixelfed and can see my account in my followers list. I also see my blog as one of the accounts I’m following on Pixelfed. But since it worked for you, I feel more confident. Thanks again.
