• Hello dear developer, hello dear user,

does anybody has a WP-Jobmanager-site running with more than 5 000 records:

Note: i have seen sites that run apache Solr (or ElasticSearch) that are blisteringly fast.

question: Does anybody have some experience and benchmarks with such heavy load site – with more than 5 000 records. i am interested in exchange about ideas and experience with users and admins of such heavy load site – with more than 10 000 records.

i think that this can lead to a fruitful exchange:

    some questions:
    – does anybody have experience with such a heavy load wp-jobmanager-site – that is a site with wp-jobmanager that contains more than 5 000 records in WP – Jobmanager?
    – more general: does anybody have experience with Apache Solr or ElasticSearch in combination with wordpress – in general?

i look for idea exchange on the topic of usage Apache Solr for a better support of WP-Jobmanager. Any experience with this – interoperation /& interaction?

see more about Solr: Solr (pronounced “solar”) derived from wikipedia: Solr:…

. is an open source enterprise search platform, written in Java, from the Apache Lucene project. Its major features include full-text search, hit highlighting, faceted search, real-time indexing, dynamic clustering, database integration, NoSQL features[1] and rich document (e.g., Word, PDF) handling. Providing distributed search and index replication, Solr is designed for scalability and fault tolerance.[2] Solr is widely used for enterprise search and analytics use cases and has an active development community and regular releases. Solr runs as a standalone full-text search server. It uses the Lucene Java search library at its core for full-text indexing and search, and has REST-like HTTP/XML and JSON APIs that make it usable from most popular programming languages. Solr’s external configuration allows it to be tailored to many types of application without Java coding, and it has a plugin architecture to support more advanced customization.

again: i look for the Apache Solr for a better support of WP-Jobmanager. Any experience with this – interoperation /& interaction?
