Apache2.2.25, PHP-5.3.5 but WPNOT finding PHP

  • I cannot run the install.php as my browsers all report PHP as not running. Apache states that it is and I can run small PHP “Hello” type scripts in my browser OK.
    I want to set this up local in one machine and at this stage keep it local without any exterior hosting functionality.
    I also have IIS running as WebMatrix uses this server. I am evaluating which route to follow.
    Can any one help as the brickwall is proving painfull. This must be trivial, I am doing something or not doing something to stop it happenning.
