API

  • Hi-
    Can someone please tell me how to get my API authorization number? I know this is a basic question, but could not find it on the forum. Thanks.

    I need it for a plugin to fight Spam.

  • Ya know.. if you look at the plugins page, there’s a link in the description of the Akismet plugin.

    Anywho – go to wordpress.com. Sign up for an account. Yes, you are signing up for a free blog. No, you need not use it. Log in to your newly created wordpress.com blog. One of the pages will have your API Key. I think it is also emailed to you.
