    @ravesnewhomes,

I also have been trying to get maps working in the “Events Manager” (EM) plugin for several days. It still works great on my local site, but not on my brand new live subdomain site. I realize that this is a very recent Google requirement and believe that I followed the Google Maps API key procedure accurately (several times). I now have an API key that directly in my browser, brings back a large function without error message. On the website, Google maps integration is enabled, but the EM “Google Maps API Browser Key” field will not save any key. Per plugin recommendations: set to a basic WordPress theme and deactivated all of the plugins, only reactivating “Events Manager”. Any help would be very greatly appreciated.

    Dear @aprilschmitt27,

Please check your API setting again, the most probably your domain is not written correctly.

The current URL loading the Google Maps JavaScript API has not been added to the list of allowed referrers. Please check the referrer settings of your API key on the Google Developers Console.

Also please make sure that the following APIs are enabled.

    Google Maps JavaScript API
    Google Maps Roads API
    Google Street View Image API
    Google Places API Web Service
    Google Maps Geocoding API
    Google Maps Distance Matrix API
    Google Maps Geolocation API
    Google Maps Directions API
    Google Static Maps API

    Dear Sona,

Thank you very much for your willingness to try to solve this issue. I found that I had additional data saving problems. And today realized that when I migrated my site from local to live, the primary keys and auto increments settings were lost. I have restored all of these via PhpMyAdmin and now my known issues are solved. Again, thank you for taking the time to try to help me.

    Best Regards,
    April

@aprilschmitt27 can you explain what the “primary keys and auto increments settings” is and how to fix this? I’m having the same problem with my map. I’ve tried multiple API keys but when I add the referrer (which is correct) the map breaks. Would appreciate any help you can throw my way.

Also, I’m not experienced with phpMyAdmin so dumbing down instructions would really be helpful.

    I found a fix here.

The directions say to add a referrer in this format:

The directions say to add a referrer in this format:

    “*.example.com/*”
That is correct for URLs that use “www.” before the name of the site. But for those that don’t, like my website, an additional referrer needs to be added in this format:

    “*example.com/*”
NOTE: The second referrer is missing the “.” before the site name.

I have followed that, but still have no map displaying in the plugin and on the page. https://ugeskemarevolutionen1.ubon-buntharik.com/foredrag-kurser/
