API Key

  • I have a number of blogs on my own servers, how do I go about getting an API key for each WP installation?

    Is there a reason why the API key cannot be available on a www.ads-software.com profile? It’s really irritating having to go though a different wordpress.com account to activate plugins on a www.ads-software.com account.

    Because Automattic and www.ads-software.com are two seperate animals. Yes you can get the plugin here but the service comes from a commercial company outside of here.

    It’s really irritating having to go though a different wordpress.com account to activate plugins on a www.ads-software.com account.

    I use Akismet too but Cookies for Comments easily picks up 75% of my spam. Between that and Bad Behavior you might get good spam filtering without Akismet (or the API key).

    Pls help. My blog had been spammed from “.ru” emails everyday.

    I have download Akismet and Stat but I could not find my API to activate it. In the WP user admin section, and under my blog name, there is no API no.
