API Key how to link to my blog?

  • I have registered at wordpress.com and ended up with another blog? readhow.wordpress.com as well as the one I am building at read-how.com/myblog

    All I wanted was a key to start activating plugins and when I use the key I was given I am getting an error that my blog is not linked with this key.

    What did I do wrong? I don’t want to manage two blogs….

  • ACtually when you sign up over at wp.com, there’s an option to get just a username and not a blog. That’s whay you should have choosen.

    Feel free to delete the wp.com blog as the key is tied to your account, not the wp.com blog.
