• I have a brand new WordPress, hosted at BlueHost. As I wanted to activate the Akismet plugin, it read “You need a WordPress.com API key to use it” and gave the sign-up link: https://wordpress.com/api-keys/ . In the end of the sign-up process, the form offered choices:
    – ‘Gimme a blog! (Like username.wordpress.com)’, or ‘Just a username, please.’ I thought, why not grab the free blog as well, I can use it to blog on my native language… so out of greed I chose the sign up with the blog option. Registered, got the key. Then I activated Akismet plugin on my hosted WordPress and added the API key. It seemed to have worked.

Then I wanted to enter my https:// immediate upload area, and it did not work! Instead, it gave a red warning that said certificate error, and does not let me in, so I can not upload or access my files.

I thought I can have more than one blog accounts, and I can use the same API key… but I’m a totally new to this. Did I confuse the system? It sure confused me.

How can I resolve this? Please help!!!
