Api key problem

  • i just set up a wordpress blog on my site, and it’s saying my Api key is incorrect, but it’s the one i just got from my new account on WordPress, any idea why this may be and how i can resolve the problem.

    My blog section’s adress is

    https://www.seewhitstable.com/Whitstable-Blog/

    The section isn’t linked from the main site’s side yet, but it is linked to main site.

    It’s actually because I’m trying to configure the api key for the akismet plug in…. i forgot to say that – it just keeps saying API key incorrect in the configure Akismet box

    You don’t need to “configure” the API key. Just copy and paste carefully!

    I’ve actually typed it in as well as copying and pasting it, and no joy …..

    I don’t suppose they could be tracking whether it’s a commercial site or not?
