API key will not work! Aide Moi!

Dear Friends,

I am having MUCH trouble getting any plugin involving a Google API key to work. I’ve attempted to use the following plugins to no avail:
https://code.google.com/p/wordpress-geo-mashup/ and https://code.google.com/p/wpng-calendar/

I go to the following pages to retrieve their respective API keys.
https://code.google.com/apis/maps/signup.html
and https://code.google.com/apis/gdata/signup.html

The site i am working on is https://motherlandkrooks.com but I have two subdirectories which I have installed wordpress in (one install of wordpress per directory)they are located at https://motherlandkrooks.com/blog and https://motherlandkrooks.com/unknown there is no install in the root of the entire site.

I once had the events plugin working but after I accidentally changed the blog and website address in settings and didnt know how to fix it I deleted the database and reinstalled wordpress. I have tried to use https://motherlandkrooks.com, https://motherlandkrooks.com/blog, and https://motherlandkrooks.com/unknown when generating the API keys but none have worked ever since.

Any help will be GREATLY appreciated! whooooo….that was alot.
