API Result Translations

  • Hello Forum,

    While testing “rejected” Creditcards in test mode (https://stripe.com/docs/testing) I noticed that API errors (Example “Stripe API error occurred: Your card was declined.”) are given in English, so they are not translated (into German in my case), which is a problem for non-English-Speaking customers.

    Also, I couldn’t find a corresponding translation in the *de-DE.po file.

    Is there a way to have these Messages translated (via *.po translation or in the Stripe Backend) ?

    Hi, The actual API error message comes from Stripe. It’s not a string set within our plugin. I need to investigate and see what technique is the best to offer translation there.
