I cannot find anyway to message you on WP apart from here. I am really fed up as I updated the WP to Twitter App last night and now I can’t open my websites wp-admin page, it is just a white page. Can you please help me.

As a piece of advice, your support requests are much more likely to be noticed if they are created as new support requests here, rather than attached to somebody else’s prior request.

Most likely, you’re experiencing some kind of fatal error in your WordPress admin; although I can’t begin to guess what it could be. What version of WordPress are you running?

The latest version of WP to Twitter has been out for several weeks with no reports of white screen problems, so as long as your installation meets the basic requirements, I have no reason to assume that the problem is directly associated with WP to Twitter; although it could be a conflict between WP to Twitter and some other plug-in.

Thanks Joe, I’m new to having problems with WordPress, it’s normally perfect. Turns out it was another Plugin so sorry for thinking it was WP to Twitter. It’s a great app and I would be lost without it. Thanks ??

@mrppp Are you getting any specific error messages? Can you provide any more detail?

Hi I get no error messages, everything is set but I am using events manager so maybe it does not work with that although the developer of that plugin recommended this one so they think/know it works?

WP to Twitter does work with Events Manager. Have you made sure to enable updates for the events post type, in the WP to Twitter settings, and provide a template for your Tweets?

what do you mean by provide a template for your Tweets?
in Settings for type “post” I have both ticked

The events for event manager aren’t “posts” – they’re “events” — have you indicated anything for that post type?

I see nothing for events, no mention of events.

Is the plug-in you’re using this one:

Or some other plug-in? You said events manager; so that’s what I assumed; but let me know if it’s something else.

Then on your WP to Twitter settings page, you should have a section labeled:

Settings for type “event”

In that section, check the box for “Update when an event is published” and provide a template text for those updates.

Ok, deactivated and re activated now it shows!!
