Apostrophe search error

    I know this has been discussed before but I can’t find an answer. When I search for an author that has an apostrophe in his name, I get no results.

    If you search for O’connor, there are no results but it you search for Connor, it shows the author.

    Can someone tell me how to fix this?

    Hi,

    This doesn’t seem related to the Groups plugin as your question seems related to finding a user – which is something that is WordPress standard functionality.

    But I was curious and tested it out … I’ve created a user whose Last Name is O′Conner and WordPress doesn’t find it when I search by that same string (using the exact same ′ apostrophe).

    I would suggest to post this in the appropriate forum related to WordPress (not to a plugin forum such as this one) : https://www.ads-software.com/support/forums/
