Apostrophe trouble in post title in Chrome, but not in IE or Firefox
-
The apostrophe in the title of my blog post “Strong Inventory Management Boosts Macy’s 1Q Profits” is switching into a slash. So instead of saying what it’s supposed to, it says: “Strong Inventory Management Boosts Macy/s 1Q Profits.”
This is only happening in the Google Chrome Web browser, not in Firefox or Internet Explorer. I tried changing the apostrophe from the one used in Microsoft Word to one used in the HTML. It made no difference in the Chrome post title, though.
I have never had a problem with this before. In my other blog, I have a blog entry with an apostrophe that used to work fine in Chrome, but just now it has started to have the same problem: “Manufacturing Inventory Software Increases Companies’ Productivity.” In Chrome, it says: “Manufacturing Inventory Software Increases Companies/ Productivity.”
Did something change recently? How can I get these post titles to look normal in Google Chrome?
