App could not be loaded (Export a Template Kit)

I have a fresh install of WordPress 6.2.2 with Elementor 3.13.3 on the Hello Elementor 2.7.1 theme kit. I’ve spent the day customizing the design and layout, and want to export. According to your (outdated) article, this is possible. So I made my way to Elementor > Tools > Import / Export Kit and clicked on the Start Export button. This produced the “App could not be loaded” error message.
A little disappointed that Elementor failed with such an clean install with nearly no other active plugins.
