Thanks for the quick response! It worked in our main website.
Still, we couldn’t make it work in our testing environment with a base URL like “https://www.foo.bar/wordpress_directory”. We get this error:

"Login Failure Contact Admin - Probable Cause incorrect URL"

What is “$#8221” at the end of this URL?

Be sure same URL set at wp-admin – Setting – General – Site URL and WordPress URL?

Oh, it was nothing, I don’t know why that was added (apparently the end quote was interpreted as part of the URL). But basically I meant that the WordPress site is located in a dedicated directory inside the root of a site.

And yes, “site address” and “wordpress address” are both pointing to that sub-directory (in this case, the hypothetical https://www.foo.bar/wordpress_directory )
