    Hi,
I’ve installed the plugin and it seems to be working almost perfectly. The only issue I can see right now is the App icon from phone’s home screen is also being used as the image on the splash screen. I have uploaded to different images 192×192 for home screen icon and a different logo design (512×512) for splash screen.
Also, is there a way to just have the image on the splash screen without the added “Application Name” text? Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

  • Hello @elward,

Good day and thanks for using our plugin Super Progressive Web Apps.

We added Splash Screen Icon option as we realised that it will be used for Splash Screen’s for devices having large screen resolutions. Currently the 192*192 size image is used for splash screen and homescreen icon by browsers because 192*192 loads more faster than the other and have very small size. Hopefully in future there will be some solutions available by W3C to resolve this as it’s a emerging new technology.

Currently, there’s no option to show image on the splash screen without the “Application Name” text, as it’s the basic structure of PWA.

    Regards,
