Thanks for the plugin! It’s a great contribution!

I would like to ask about the following:

I see that my application icon has a little Chrome icon inside it once I added the website to homescreen. That didn′t happen when I added SuperPWA.com for the quick demo.

I also see that I can find SuperPWA in the device app list (able to uninstall), but not mine.

    Why could that be happening?

Thank you very much for your help!
    Regards

    Hello @acbout

Good day to you and thanks for trying out SuperPWA. I think the PWA criteria is not meet over your website, that’s why you noticed the chrome icon when you added to the home screen. Can you please share your website URL, so that I can take a look into the same and can get back to you with a solution to work PWA perfectly well?

If the website is picnic.so , when I checked the website over my chrome browser the app is perfectly added to the home screen without any chrome icon over the logo and the aop is showing over the apps list.

I also noticed that you are using webp for Application Icon and Splash screen icon, kindly change the images file format to PNG and reupload the same via the SuperPWA settings page.

If that didn’t work, please clear the browsing cache of the website. This will surely help.

    Looking forward.

@josevarghese , thank you very much for your help!

The website is picnic.so, and effectively I could add it to the home screen without the chrome icon over the logo, and see it showing over the apps list once I changed the images file format to PNG.

    Thanks again!
    Regards
