• After working for over an hour with Goddady (sigh) we noticed that the calendar was running a process and over-consuming our virtual memory and I/O … so the site crashed.

So I renamed the plugin, cleared the site cache at Cloudflare, and then asked GoDaddy to kill the processes.
The site came back online, yay.

    A) Should this app consume more than 512 MB?
    B) If not, what’s wrong?
    C) If so what are the suggested resources required to run this app?

We are feeding events from EventsInColorado.com

    Thanks,

furthermore, the site has crashed again… stats show the calendar is still trying to connect even though I have renamed the plugin and cleared the cache again!

ok, through the database I have deactivated the plugin so my site is stable… but your plugin in is not…
I need help understanding why the plugin is broken.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.
    Thank you,
    Rob

Just noticed the same on a few of our sites. We downgraded and that seems to have “fixed” it, at least temporarily. https://pluginarchive.com/wordpress/all-in-one-event-calendar

Not ideal, but it works. If you find a better fix please toss an update on here.

I have also had this issue on a site that was no longer using this plugin. Even after deactivating and deleting I am still getting regular calls to it from IP 50.76.204.61.
    Sample access log entry:
    50.76.204.61 – – [18/Feb/2020:06:08:11 -0600] “GET /?plugin=all-in-one-event-calendar&controller=ai1ec_exporter_controller&action=export_events&no_html=true HTTP/1.0” 200 98647 “-” “Microsoft Office/16.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Microsoft Outlook 16.0.12430; Pro)”
This request is happeneing constantly. I’m going to block the IP address but after completely removing this plugin I’m not sure why I keep getting external requests to it’s exporter. Something is definitely going on with this plugin.
