App still supported? Can’t make it work with Feedburner feeds…

  • Just installed the plugin and the widget appears on the sidebar but it’s not showing the 3 feeds I have set up in links.

    The feeds are:
    https://www.breadland.org/feeds/posts/default
    https://blog.aliyahland.com/feeds/posts/default
    https://www.mamaland.org/feeds/posts/default
    (before I tried these URLs, I had the Feedburner URL in there that these links point to… but changing the URLs doesn’t seem to have made a difference.)

    With those 3 links entered, RSS Feed Checker reports the following:

    Link Stats
    Links pending: 0 Links total: 0

    Server load: 10.65

    RSS Checker table version: 1.0.0

    Schedule
    Time now: September 3, 2019 11:29:08

    Schedule will be triggered: September 3, 2019 11:30:43

    … and naturally, probably because it thinks there are 0 links, it’s not showing anything in the widget either. ??

    Any simple way to make this work in 5.2.2?

    Hey Tizivia, the message “Links total” suggests that it can’t see your 3 links in the links table. Zero suggests it has never run.

    I see your server load of 10.6 is quite high, the tool won’t do anything until that drops below the “Server Load limit”. That is so it does not stress an already loaded server. So best resolve that first and see if the counts go up after that
