apparent error in v 3.91

  • Feedback: There appears to be a problem with version 3.9.1

    In v3.9.1 I am Unable to Log In — Error: Cookies Are Blocked Due To Unexpected Output. The support forums have many users facing this same problem.

    I disabled all plugins and themes except wp theme 2014, but the error continued.

    I downgraded to an older WP version and everything works fine.

    I no longer have v3.9.1 installed.
    I re-installed an older WP version and everything works fine.

    Does v3.8.x test the cookies, or is this something new in v3.9.x?

    I believe WordPress was using cookies back in 3.8 as well.

    Do you use Firefox? There’s a good plugin called “Web Developer” Currently version 1.2.5 – Adds a menu and a toolbar with various web developer tools. One of those tools is a drop-down list of cookie manipulations. Click the drop-down choose; Delete Domain Cookies, Delete Path Cookies, Delete Session Cookies.

    I sometimes get errors with login to Cpanel and find it helpful to delete domain cookies before attempting to.

    Just a thought, it may or may not help.
