Appearance & Directory tabs in Form Editor

I have to disable Directory in order to see/edit options in the Appearance tab for any type of field I use in a form. Otherwise, the same options that appear in the Directory tab are visible in the Appearance tab. Happened in Gravity Forms 1.9.3 and now in 1.9.4.
