    Version of PHP / MySQL: 5.6.29
    Theme used: storefront
    Extensions in place: woocommerce / All in One SEO Pack & qTranslate-X / WooCommerce & qTranslate-X / WooCommerce Grid – List toggle
    Name of host: OVH

    Hello everyone,

    I have characters that appear in links or descriptions of products that probably originate from the woocommerce translation plugin.

    The phenomenon has always been present on the product page as on this page: https://www.biologiquement.com/biologique/graviola-corossol-feuille-gelule/ after “Tags:” you see these characters: [: en] and Also in the links after ?On the same theme? you still have the same characters.

    It does not really bother me.

    But it has become gruesome after installing this plugin “WooCommerce Grid – List toggle” if you test on the “shop” page of the site below “sort by popularity” you choose the grid view, and there it is A garland of carats that displays: [fr] [fr] [fr] [fr] [fr] [fr]

    Would you have the means to delete these characters on all pages.

    This is the mechanism of qTranslate x. These shortcodes separate the different languages. The plugin normally splits the content and you don’t see these shortcodes.
    Deleting them manually will destroy the structure of your page.

    You have a lot of plugins working on your site.
    qTranslate X works with many plugins but can’t work with every plugin.
    Maybe you should deactivate “WooCommerce Grid – List toggle” and find something else?

    Hello,
    Thank you for your help.
    I just deactivate “WooCommerce Grid – List toggle”, but I still have the shortcodes problem in my product page.
    I would like to deactivate qTranslate X and try an other plug in but I fear to loose all my text translate.
    I just deactivate Integration: Yoast SEO & qTranslate-X, but it change nothing.
    Can I pass to a plug in to an other without loosing all my text in spanish and english?

    This problem persist after years and years of development
    I will try with an italian alternative Ceceppa Multilingua
