• I’ve got a website where it’s been verified on the server that there’s no caching, I’ve disabled all the plugins, etc. Yet no matter what I do on the backend, the theme won’t change.

    Changes I’ve tried:
    * Remove the two column layout on the front page
    * Move the left footer text to the center (I don’t really want that there, but it’s a testing piece)
    * Change the background color

    No difference is made. Any tips?

    – have you cleared your browser cache?
    – try differentbrowser/computer.

    Do other changes show up – say, publishing a post?

    How are you making the changes that are not showing up?

    Yep. I’ve tried multiple computers, browsers, and cleared the cache.

    Publishing pages and posts show up. It’s just the widget areas and CSS stuff that won’t change. For Widgets for example, I’ve put various random widgets in the widget areas and hit save. They don’t show up.

    For CSS, I’ve tried to change the blue bar to red and widen the space for the title. Nope. No difference.

    I’d guess that may be a CSS issue – i.e. an error or not specific enough.

    On the widgets, might be a JS problem. do you have this problem on a default theme with ALL plugins deactivated?
