    Hi there,
    there are no reported issues like this for Proteo…
    Maybe it is something related to a plugin, a non stable (or maybe too old) version of WordPress or a customization of your environment.
    Ask your hosting company help about resources and memory limits too.

    I have now deleted all my wordpress installs and any residual files and have a clean public_html folder. I have then:

    1. Installed a clean 5.6 wp.
    2. Activated a default theme and tested “customise” and worked 100%
    3. YITH ProteoVersion: 1.4.5 then downloaded and activated.
    4. The only plugins are deactivated Akismet Anti-Spam & Hello Dolly.
    5. Basic Proteo theme opens, but when customised selected fails again.

    My host sullier (3IX.org) team are currently unable to assist. Is there any specific log files on the server that are of interest to investigate tha I can get extracted?

    The 500 issue was resolved.

    The modSecurity setting on the server was disabled by the host provider. This resolved access to the customisation page.
