    Hey Nic!

Can you copy and paste here the shortcode that you are using?

    Thanks!
    Richard

Oh, sorry, I’d deleted it and now that I try again it’s not working in the widget either.

The help tab in the Plug in settings says:
To output the custom Facebook Feed, place [ik_fb_feed colorscheme=”light” use_thumb=”true” width=”250″ num_posts=”5″ id=”123456789″] in the body of a post.

It’s in the main body of a page I’d like it to appear.
    Thanks

    Hey Nic –

I think my docs are a bit confusing, and I will update them.

    Try just using:

    [ik_fb_feed]

If your settings are correct and the feed shows on the Dashboard Help tab, then it should appear on your website if your theme parses shortcodes.

    Thanks,
    Richard

    Hi,
Sorry, I think I’m getting there now.
I wasn’t really sure about the shortcodes, so I just tried pasting it directly into either the Visual or the Text areas.

I’ve used a shortcode now, and went for a box-note – and it works, but it has a yellow background, so I presume this is supposed to be like a post it note.

Can you suggest a shortcode I should use, just to insert a bit of code like this – Under Data the options are Meta, User & Post – none of which seem applicable.

Also, while I’m on, can you confirm for me that this is a free service, and will always include the photos appearing. I saw a message somewhere saying I had 8 days left of the trial – am I going to have to pay for it after this time?
Thanks very much for your help,

Sorry, never mind – I’ve realised I just need to get my head around shortcodes, I don’t really understand them.
    Thanks anyway

Sorry Richard, would you mind giving me the code to put in for just having the like button please?
I managed to get it by playing about with the code I found, but when I click on it, nothing seems to happen in my actual Facebook page, and when I click on the link to leave a comment, it doesn’t take me anywhere.
I’m a bit lost with all this, any help you can give would be great.
    Thanks v much

    Hey Nic!

You want to use [ik_fb_like_button] to have a Like button that Likes the page you are currently looking at.

    Hope that helps!

    Best,
    Richard
