Appears WP-United is dead – Any other WP/PhPbb SSO options?

  • It appears that WP-United is dead.
    I cannot get mine to work.
    Looking at the list here, people are not getting replies to their questions.

    What other options are there for SSO?

    I really would like one login to my WP site and its PhPbb. Is that possible any longer?

    I do not want a generic social media login… I want people to specifically have to subscribe to our site if they want to participate.

  • IF you look at authors officlal sit have removed it completly dont know if it for good or to redo code for new PHPBB

    I think it’s dead, otherwise the author would have a heartbeat.

    the author comes and goes says hes back then disappears again don’t bother with this one. Trying to find a replacement myself.
    Anyone have any recommendations?

    Hi – I am making a forum for my WP website with phpbb – I came across this plug in which is exactly what I am needing. I am concerned that WP is showing “Warning: This plugin has not been tested with your current version of WordPress and states it has not been updated in over a year.

    It seems quite a few are concerned. Any updates if there are plans to update the plugin – are there updates necessary to make it function with the current version of WP &/or phpbb?

    Anyone heard of or found another option?
