Apple News: Attachment could not be included in request error at local

    Hello There,

    I was using this apple news on my live site it is working fine. Suddenly I got an issue after wordpress update that “Manual selection area was not visible”. To check this I have installed complete website at my local but here I am getting another issue related to image:

    THERE HAS BEEN AN ERROR WITH THE API: THE ATTACHMENT MY-IMAGE.JPG COULD NOT BE INCLUDED IN THE REQUEST BECAUSE IT WAS EMPTY.

    FYI, in plugin setting, I have set “Use Remote Images” setting to “no” as it is my local development environment. Using newly created channel account for local using different email.

    Please check.

    The “manual selection area was not visible” error message is not coming from this plugin.

    My guess with the image and remote images: no setting is that WordPress is not able to get the contents of my-image.jpg, and so it’s including it as a zero-length blob in the bundle, which is causing Apple News to reject the submission. Please ensure that file exists on your local and has content, and that your WordPress installation has permissions to read it.
