If a user/customer is already registered on the Woocommerce site and is not logged in, they get this message after they try to pay with Apple Pay – the Apple Pay first appears to have processed and returns to Woocommerce (however no money is taken).:

Apple Pay: An account is already registered with your email address. Please log in.

The words ‘Please log in’ are hyperlinked to “#”, so it goes nowhere and is confusing.

Would be ideal if transaction could process without logging in…however, if not we need the ‘Please log in’ to be linked correctly. I’m guessing this is related to the plugin?

    Thanks!

    PS.
If the user/customer IS logged in, the payment processes as expected.

Registered and logged in from where? Your shop, apple pay, …?

Apologies I meant registered as a customer of the shop – I just clarified and added “on the Woocommerce site”.

I am sure that I have seen some settings options which says like “signup/login needed” for checkout. Please check all the settings it may be in advanced section.

    Hi @cagsanovic,

Thanks for contacting us. That is actually a function of WooCommerce and you can control that behavior within the WooCommerce > Settings > Accounts and Privacy settings.

You can enable the option for guest checkout which means a customer does not need an account to place an order.

    Kind Regards,

I’ll check with Woocommerce about the “#” link ??
