A client has just made an order on what appears to be their mobile using Apple Pay and has completely bypassed the required Input field.

Has anyone else encountered this issue?

Completely defeats the purpose of the plugin for us

    Hi @tmrob,

Regarding the query, do you mean that you are able to place an order even the input field is kept required? Also, it would be great if you can explain to us in a bit more detail along with the screenshots so that we can assist you in a better way.

    Please do the needful.

    Hi Kenil,

Yes, I mean I have a required field selected with your plugin. This required field prevents the user from adding the item to cart if the field is left blank.

With Stripe/Apple Pay enabled it appears to completely bypass this and the user is able to purchase without entering the field.

But worse yet, even if they do enter the text field but use Apple Pay it does not pass the text through the purchase process as it does if added to cart.

    Hi @tmrob,

    Okay, I got your point.

Can you please inform us which theme are you using on your site? If it is not the default one (Storefront), then please activating the default theme and then check whether the issue still exists or not.

If not, then please try deactivating all the other plugins except for the WooCommerce and the Product Input Fields plugin and check how it is working.

Please let us know how it goes.

    Regards,
    Kenil Shah
