    Hello,

When customers checkout with apple pay express checkout using the plugin the shipping address customer previously written in woocommerce checkout is overwritten by the apple pay shipping address.

How do we configure so woocommerce checkout page overrides the apple pay shipping address override?

    Hi @jayy09

By checking out with Apple Pay, customers skip the regular checkout process. All of the customer’s information is handled using the Apple Pay interface, where customers can select their:

    • Billing details
    • Payment method
    • Shipping address, if applicable

Linked here is documentation, with further details. I hope this helps!

What is a solution do you think then? Say with apple pay the checkout doesn’t use apple pay shipping and extracts the woocommerce checkout shipping address?

    Hi @jayy09,

You can set up Apple Pay to be displayed on your products page and cart pages that way customers can pay before going to checkout and filling out additional address info.

You can do that by going to your WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Stripe > Express checkouts > Apple Pay / Google Pay > Customize > Settings > Show express checkouts on:

    • Checkout
    • Product page
    • Cart

Mark all three, or disable checkout if you wish to prevent them using the Apple Pay on checkout entirely to avoid confusion with the addresses.

    I hope this helps!
