I came to this forum with an issue almost a year ago where I couldn’t get the Apple Pay button to display outside of Incognito mode. After hours of trying to figure it out, it was as simple as removing the www from the site URL’s in Settings > General. This worked fine for a while until I installed Cloudflare. Now I’m getting a ton of redirects on my home page.

If someone types in https://mysite.com, it has to redirect to https://www.mysite.com, then to https://www.mysite.com, and finally back to https://mysite.com. In fact, when I force the URL without the www in the WP settings, it returns a 404 page, but still saves the results.

If Cloudflare requires the www, then I must use it, but I’m wondering if there is any way to get Apple Pay to work with the www? If I input the www into the stripe dashboard, will that fix the issue? If you have any recommendations on how I should set it up to have the least amount of redirects, I would appreciate it. To my knowledge, Apple Pay will only work with the www removed, but I hope I am wrong. I did try adding the www in the WordPress menu and the Apple Pay button disappeared. I did not try adding it on the Stripe dashboard. I look forward to your response.

I’m not 100% sure that it will fix the issue since I don’t have the exact same testing environment to try that, but you can add your domain to Apple Pay domains as two instances – one with www and another one without it.

Cloudfare should be able to help you with the redirect issue, and we can take it from there if you’re still seeing issues with Apple Pay afterwards.

I’ll also leave the thread open so anyone with Cloudfare redirect/Apple Pay experience could chime in.

    Cheers!

    Hi @socalkingg,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
