  • Hi there @stepan123 ??

Thanks for reaching out about this. Happy to help!

Hello, we run a WP multisite website using 2 different domains as websites (atelierkristynysmetanove.cz & smetanova.art = domain alias to atelier….cz), which share the same source files.

From what I gather, you are trying to have Apple Pay work with two domains (one being the alias of the other), in a multi-site installation. Correct?

Please note that while the verification link for the site at smetanova.art appears to be working (screenshot linked here, for reference), the same is not true for the site at atelierkristynysmetanove.art (screenshot linked here, for reference).

Furthermore, please note that, WooPayments accounts can only be connected to a single site at a time. You can, however, have multiple accounts, each connected to a different site. Related documentation can be found linked here.

I hope this is helpful! Please let us know if you have any further questions about this matter, or if we misinterpret your concern in any way. We will be happy to help you further.

Hello Pepe, thanks for your response!

I’m sorry I made a mistake in domain name:

    Main domain: https://atelierkristynysmetanove.cz
    Secondary domain: https://smetanova.art

We’ve already tried to use Apple Pay feature on both websites. On main domain it worked but on secondary it didn’t. The problem is we don’t want to run Woo Payments plugin on main domain (where Apple Pay actually works) but on the secondary domain (where it doesnt work..). Plugin is active only for second domain but still it doesnt work.

BTW Verification link for main domain works as well:

    Hi @stepan123,

It’s important to note that WooPayments accounts can only be connected to one site simultaneously. So, if you want to use Apple Pay on both domains, you may need to create separate WooPayments accounts for each site. More info: https://woo.com/document/woopayments/account-management/one-account-multiple-websites/

Also, Apple Pay requires direct verification with the domain. If the domain is an alias, it may not be able to complete the verification process correctly. I suggest verifying Apple Pay directly with the secondary domain.

If you’re still experiencing issues after trying these steps, please contact us at Woo.com > My Account > Support directly. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

Please include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what’s already been done.

Looking forward to resolving this issue for you.

We want to use Woo Payments only for the secondary domain (smetanova.art) = only for 1 domain, but which is alias.

Can you recommend me please, how to “I suggest verifying Apple Pay directly with the secondary domain.” ?

    Thank you!

    Hi @stepan123,

Did you create your WooPayments account for your primary or secondary domain? If it is linked to your primary domain, you’ll need to contact us directly (Woo.com > My Account > Support). We can help you unlink it from the primary domain and connect it to your secondary domain instead.

I hope this clarifies your concern. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

We created 2 accounts, for each domain a different account. Account linked to domain (alias) is connected to email [email protected] and url domain name https://smetanova.art as it should be (https://snipboard.io/0Lsih4.jpg). But still it doesn’t work.
