Apple Pay has not yet been validated. Use the Apple Pay button in your shop for Apple to validate your domain. If this message persists after using the button, please verify your website displays the correct?domain association file. More details about the Apple Pay setup can be found in the?PayPal Payments documentation.

The above message appears in the Woocommerce payments section. Apple pay is activated and validated through Paypal and Stripe. Is this a message a false positive? I don’t have an Apple Pay account, so there is no way to view/use the Apple Pay button. Any assistance would be most appreciated. Thank you.

    Hello @chrisbutterfield

Thank you for reaching out to us.

From what I can see, your domain has already been validated successfully. You can verify this by checking the file located at: https://alfredwainwright.co.uk/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association. The presence of this sequence of numbers indicates that the domain validation process was completed correctly.

To remove the message from the settings, you need to interact with the Apple Pay button at least once. It is not necessary to complete a transaction, but simply clicking the button and having the payment sheet appear should be enough to confirm the gateway and clear the message.

If you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to let us know.

    Kind Regards,
    Krystian

Thanks, Krystian. Very much appreciated. I don’t see the Apple Pay Button in the basket when I add an item. I presumed it would only become visable if you have an Apple Pay account. I only use Google Pay, which shows as an option.

    Hello @chrisbutterfield

The Apple Pay button will only be visible to users who are accessing your shop on a device that supports Apple Pay, such as macOS or other Apple devices like iPhone or iPad.

If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.

    Kind Regards,

    Thanks Krystian

Final question. So I presume, the moment a customer buys something in my shop using Apple Pay, then that too will clear the message?

    Hi @chrisbutterfield

    Yes, that’s correct.

Alternatively, you can also trigger it manually by starting a purchase yourself and stopping just before the final step, without completing the transaction.

    Kind Regards,
    Krystian
