Apple Pay Question & Hide Credit Card Field

    Hello!

    Thanks for creating this plugin. A couple of questions…

    1) Could we please disable accepting credit / debit cards through the WooCommerce Payments plugin? I’d like to use the plugin only for accepting Google Pay and Apple Pay. See attached screenshot…even if the “Payments accepted on checkout” is unchecked, the credit card option still shows up – https://paste.pics/FPJT9. I’d prefer a solution if possible that would remove it completely versus hiding with CSS.

    2) We are using the Checkout Field Editor for WooCommerce (Pro) by ThemeHigh plugin. If Apple Pay is selected, will the custom checkout fields we created be included in the transaction?

    Hi there! Thanks for reaching out.

    1. There isn’t a way to intentionally show no payment methods on the checkout page. Not all users will be able to use Apple/Google Pay, so you need at least one alternative; be it credit/debit card, GIRO, SEPA, etc. If nothing else is selected, credit/debit card will load by default. Here’s a suggestion for a workaround from the Stripe forum that should work here too.
    2. Apple/Google Pay offer express checkout options that draw info from elsewhere, not necessarily from fields visible on the checkout page. You’ll need to test that plugin to see what is and isn’t passed on to the relevant checkout process.
