That’s odd, please try using the link to Apple Podcasts without any variables in the URL –
https://podcasts.apple.com/podcast/clicks-fm-online-marketing-podcast/id1472001341

Otherwise, I’d suggest you contact Apple and check why it’s not opening with their apps by default, perhaps you’ll need to use a different link.

thanks for you reply. For your button only US links are working:

The link work on smartphones but it doesn′t open the podcast app.

Maybe you can check if there are possibilites for opening german DE links like:

https://podcasts.apple.com/de/podcast/…

I believe you can add the /de/ into the above link –
https://podcasts.apple.com/de/podcast/clicks-fm-online-marketing-podcast/id1472001341

This should open the Apple Podcasts site, I’m sure that once you hit the “Play on Apple Podcasts” button it would open the app. If you copy the link that this button generates, you can also send users directly to the app, but that might be problematic if you click on it and don’t have the right app.
