Apple style webshop plugin

I’m want to build a webshop for custom made stuff. I want it so that when a customer selects a product to buy (for instance a computer) it takes them to the product page where they can customize their purchase (add a hard disk, or choose a faster processor). After that they click the purchase button and this customized order adds to their cart. Somewhat like the online Apple store when buying a computer there.

Is there a plugin that can do this? If not, is this achievable via wordpress or should I go look to hire a php coder?
